Reminder

Today is Thursday which means 2nd on 2nd in Ft. LAuderdale!!! We will be set up in front of Coyote Ugly and have a few of our fosters out to mingle. The event starts at 5 and the party goes until 9 in the streets (after party at Coyote!)... See you there:)

Russell

Russell went to his new forever home today in Hutchinson Island!!! He adopted 4 girls, a beach, and a great yard to run in! yes i said 4 girls to chase and roll around with and he had no qualms about staying there! I was more broken up than him i think:) I am happy to know he is in awesome hands and that he will never have a dull moment!

Adoptions!!

This weekend was really good for adoptions! We finalized the adoptions for Nani & Stitch, two of the bulldog puppies out of Chipley, FL. Penelope, one of the pit bull puppies is now in a foster-to-adopt home and Dingo now has a wonderful family that is applying to be his forever home!! Keep your fingers & paws crossed that they want to take him home! Dingo is a super special boy, and really deserves a home to call his own.

Hey everyone! Welcome to Ethical Bully Breed Rescue's blog page. We're pretty new to this, but we do hope this will help people understand a bit more about what we do, and why we do it! We are a group of volunteers dedicated to saving the lives of the most forgotten, misunderstood breeds: the bullies! We rescue homeless pit bulls and American bulldogs from being euthanized in shelters across the state, as well as help with owner surrenders.

We are a rapidly growing organization, and can always use any help we can get!

Plans for 2010:
-Get our 501(c)3 Non-Profit status through IRS. As of right now we're listed as a Not-For-Profit Incorporated organization registered through the state.
-Set up a service-dog training program, training rescued bully breed dogs as service dogs for the handicapped.
-Utilize a "Pit Bull Ed" course in local humane societies and schools to help people who are unfamiliar, or new to the breed, to better understand them.
-To successfully rescue, rehabilitate and rehome 200 bully breed dogs in wonderful, loving, responsible homes.

With the wonderful group of people we have working with us right now, there's no doubt 2010 will be an amazing year for the rescue, but even more for the bullies we all hold near and dear to our hearts.
